I wanted to thank Janice for her wonderful write-up on Midlife Moments. It was a great joy to be interviewed by her and I hope that our story touches all of those who find their way here thru her. If you come over from her site, take a look around, read thru my entries and I hope that you leave blessed. If you havent taken the time to visit 5minutesformom.com, I highly encourage you do so. I have enjoyed reading it for quite some time, and I know that you will too! Thank you Janice, you have been a blessing to me!
On a side note: Our family is going to be out of town for the next 4 days. I hope that your 4th of July is wonderful, and pray that it is safe. I should be back on Tuesday!
And I will leave you with this… (Before and After - Dominic did a wonderful job!)

Happy 4th :)

Great interview! Just read it… Have a safe holiday weekend. Hopefully Emma will get to see some fireworks. We had a sad incident happen in Atlanta recently, a mom was in a car accident and lost two of her children in the wreck. I think we all need to treat our time with our family like it’s borrowed. You just never know…
Love ya,
by PaulaThe photos look like twins! Travel safe and have fun. And the minute you get home, I’ve tagged you to do the 7 Things About Me meme.
I need to talk to you about (1) how you got your signature at the bottom of your posts and (2)how hard is it to load a song onto your blog? Found the website but it’s scary looking!
by Barbdid you cut your hair?
by ShaynaCute! Where are you guys headed for the 4th?

I like the red, it’s kinda sassy!
by PaulaI’ve been on her site briefly. I wish I had more time to dig around her site. It looks like a lot of really neat stuff.
by KarlaIt took me a minute to figure out you’re the same person in the pics up there. =) I cheated & hovered my mouse over each. heehee
I like the new cut & color! Spunky funky! =) Great ‘do for the 4th. Hope you have a great holiday weekend!
First of all I feel like an idiot. Having just met you, and admitting I was just RUNNING through my bloglines I totally missed what the photo is. Well of course it looks like twins - it’s you twice! Geez. I love the new look. I read your interview. I don’t even know what to say. I had no idea. My heart just goes completely out to you. You really are an inspiration to us all but even more so to those who are going through the same thing, a critically ill child. God Bless You.
by BarbHey Heather,
by PauletteI hope you have a safe and wonderful 4th. I will look forward to hearing about your adventure.

Indeed a cool new hair-do…I am here from Janice’s blog, but I have been here before. Have a safe and blessed 4th of July weekend.

Love the red, love the cut. Looks great!
by boomamaLove the do! It’s very flattering.
by surcieI’ve just now read the interview. Wow!
I think the part that touched me the most is when you said, “We are always looking for that BIG miracle, and in the process we miss the little ones along the way. Emma’s entire life is a miracle, every precious moment of it. I know he will heal my daughter, it just might not be this side of heaven.”
What a beautiful person you are Heather, inside and out. It’s an honor to “know” you through our blogs. You and your family remain in my prayers!
