Monday Madness…

This morning started off with a call from the State Attorneys office- which was odd in itself. It seems that what was once put behind me is in reality not. (Talk about cryptic- huh!) anyways- Please say a few prayers, its a touchy situation all around and I want to make sure my heart is in the right place before I make any decisions.

Then I decided to be brave and change my router. Funny thing, I have had this new router sitting in a box for almost 2 weeks. I have walked by it everyday thinking “I need to do that, but remember last time you tried to set up your internet”. Needless to say it was not a pleasant situation. So I decided to bite the bullet and hook the thing up. Cord from wall to modem, cord into router- Connection not found. This went on for hours. Needless to say I hooked my old router back up and decided to never touch my internet connection again. Ever. Between D-Link, LinkSys and Comcast my head was about to explode.

Easton starts Girl Scouts tonight with her best friend Olivia (Laura’s Daughter). You would have to know Easton to know that this is was a huge step for her. She has always believed that girl scouts wear those little skirts with neck ties and sing songs. She is so not a girly girl. Olivia finally talked her into joining, so tonight off we go. Im excited to see Easton try new things. Maybe next we can get her into a skirt- but I am not holding my breath!

Im off to make a few phone calls, I hope that your Monday has been wonderful :)

Wow, we have the same title today!

I have been where you are with Router problems. ours stopped working after we got the Digital phone service through comcast. I tried everything and no luck. so I baught a new one, I got a different brand also. (so I wouldn’t get the two settings confused) I works Great! (was very easy to do also!)
What kind did you get? We had Linksys first, that stopped working with comcast. UGH.

LOL at Easton and Girl Scouts, I am sure she will LOVE it!

good luck sis! I hope all turns out okay!

    LOVE YA

Man. I got nervous just reading about you messing with your connections. Nuh uh. No way. That’s hubby’s department. I can relate to your exploding head! I just want it all to work and don’t even want to know the details. :-)

Easton cracks me up. She reminds me so much of my Krissy who thought girl scouts was for dweebs. She ended up enjoying it for a couple of years. Then we moved on to gymnastics and softball and art and chatechism (my Catholic period) and so many things I can’t remember. As long as we keep them involved in things outside school, even if it doesn’t last more than one year, it’s worth it. She’ll be fine. But if she’s not a girlie girl, don’t waste your money on skirts. It won’t happen. Come to think of it, I never wear skirts either. :-)

Hooray for Easton! I didn’t join Girl Scouts or 4-H or anything fun like that when I was young. I’ve always been such a wallflower. And I still don’t like skirts to this day. I’m not very girly either. :) Hope she has fun!
And I’ll be praying for you about the “business” mentioned at the first of your post.

Here’s hoping for Tuesday (Darn, I simply can’t think of a T word except Take-Out and I was really looking for something much more profound and sweet. Okay I’ll go with Take-out for now and when I think of a better word I’ll come back) Take-Out

I loved girl scouts but I was girly and so I do hope and pray your daughter likes it. We did a lot of not so girly things like made a brick fireplace outside (we made our own bricks!), made our lean-too for camping out of brush and a lot of other things were we got real dirty and very hands on, hiking and such.

We had a fabulous weekend and today was good. God Bless!

sorry about your internet problems. my isp required me to call them first with the router name and set up a 2nd ip address to use to work on the new router, and then once I had it set up I called them back to disconnect the 1st ip address. maybe you can try calling comcast?

also, I was dumb the first time I tried to change from wired to wireless router, and didn’t have my wireless card turned on. 5 hours of talking to people from india, and it was all my own fault. :)
