I need You! Yes You!
January 22, 2007
As many of you know, I host a womens devotional site called Faith Lifts. It has been a huge blessing in my life, and I am so excited about the things the Lord has in store for our team in the next few months!
If you are a writer (of course you are, you blog!) please visit Faith Lifts today! Here is a brief description of what is going on there:
In the next few weeks, you will see many changes here at Faith Lifts. Our first Newsletter is scheduled to go out sometime in February, our new layout should be complete within in the next 2 weeks, just to name a few. We will also be doing away with the themed topics for our devotionals (which will still be the focus of our ministry at Faith Lifts) The most exciting change will be the addition of sections on popular topics that effect women/moms today.
If you would like to be considered as a topic writer (you can write once, or as many times as you want on as many topics as you want) please follow the directions on the site and send a sample of your work in! We are also looking for hosts (moderators) of each topic which will be great fun (and publicity) for whoever is chosen for the task.
I know many of you are very talented writers, and would be a great asset to our already wonderful team of writers. I hope that you will consider submitting a sample, you never know the impact your words might have on those who read them through Faith Lifts!
That is the end of my advertisement :) We are going out of town on Wednesday (Chicago)- I am meeting a sweet friend of mine tonight in Tampa to borrow her winter coat (heh, I own no coat). I am very much looking forward to the trip and the time I will get to spend with family (especially my SIL!) The kids are going to my parents while we are gone, this will be our first real trip alone since Emma’s birth- I am going to be a nervous wreck!
I found these picture last night while at my parents house, She has come along way hasnt she! Click the images to make them larger:

I would love to hear from you!

My only problem is I only write good when I am inspired, and I am only inspired when God lays something on my heart, and that isn’t necessarily on a specific day….
…. like yesterday I did a decent post, I don’t know if it would be considered a devotional?!
Well anyway, I might head over and read some more of Faith Lifts….
The pictures are wonderful!! I especially loved looking at all of the pics on your flickr account. Thanks so much for sharing!!
Heather, if you have a moment (I see you are logged in, I think) I would love for you to be praying as I wait for a call back from the neurologist. We are taking Rachel off meds–she has been diagnosed with Steven Johnson Syndrome. Please be praying. I think there is more on my site but..l anyway.
Will prayerfully consider the Faithlifts as well.
Praying right now Heather, and going to research this- Stay strong friend and let me know if you need anything at all.

I will definitely check out Faith Lifts. I love all your pictures. What an inspiration you and your family are.
Enjoy your trip in Chicago with your husband. God will keep watch over your children and he has awesome help in your parents!
God Bless You!
Oh, I hope you have a wonderful time in Chicago. My hubby and I (and a friend) went to Chicago (pre-marriage) and we had a blast! It is beautiful! Anyway, I love the pictures…she really has come a long way! :) I will go check out Faith Lifts and see more of what you are talking about (I haven’t been by in a few days.)Take care and have a wonderful trip!!!
Enjoy yourself in Chicago! I’ve only ever been there in the airport to switch planes…
Thinking about your Faith Lifts thing…I’m feeling a little overwhelmed just with what I’ve got going on right now at home, but maybe something like this would be a good thing for me to participate in…cut out something uneccessary and add something good…
Hi, Heather!
I came here from Ashleigh’s blog (heartandhome) and just wanted to let you know we’ll be praying for your family and Emma. I can’t imagine what you’ve been through. Thanks for sharing your journey through your blog.
