My Dad, the blogger…

Im burried in work, so while I am gone, I wanted to share with you a post my father made on his blog. For those of you who dont know, my father is a pastor here in our town. His blog is part of the church website, which he has been blogging on it for a while now. I thought this (and many of the others he has written) was wonderful!

My dad, the blogger:

Today there is more information about how to be a “Soul Winner” then ever in the history of the church. You can take your pick from Evangelism Explosion, Continuous Witness Training, The Four Spiritual Laws, Steps To Peace With God, Sharing Your Faith Without Fear and on and on and on. With all the “How To” training, the main problem remains the lack of “Want To” on the part of most Christians.

Most people do not want to be bothered with the lost, they do not care about the lost, they do not want to be associated with the lost. WHY?

Stop by, leave him some comments and encourage him to post more often! You will bless him (and me) emensely!

Enjoy your weekend!

Just went to Beth Moore conference last week and she mentioned that she blogs. Just checked out her blog and you did her website….you go girl! I also saw one of BooMama’s comments that cracked me up!

  2. Thank you Katy, although I cant take credit for Beth Moores website! Karen Rani, one of our other designers did it, and she did a fantabulous job!

I will have to go check out boomama’s comment!

  3. Heather, that was just AWESOME and I left your Dad a comment and told him so.

I recently quit a Bible Study for just this reason. I felt so frustrated, like it was reading a “how to win friends and influence people and become rich in the process manual.” I just couldn’t take it.

God Bless you heart for sharing this!

    Hugs!

So funny – I posted something about my daddy and his “website” today – great minds think alike, I reckon.

I have no idea what I said that was funny on Beth Moore’s blog. I guess I’ll have to go check out my own comment, too.
