Thinking Blog Award
April 3, 2007
I was given a “Thinking Blog Award” by Kristen which is really amazing because lately I feel like I have been a pretty lousy blogger. Kristen, thank you so much for your kind words about me! You really made my day, and thank you also for praying for my daughter- it is so wonderful knowing that so many people keep her in their daily prayers. I met Kristen through Moms of Grace (are you a member yet? Its in my sidebar- join now!) It has been such a joy to get to know her and the other gals there, I’m really honored to be apart of such a great community! Here is what Kristen had to say about me:
I’d like to pass my next award along to someone I have only recently met through the new community of moms I am a part of “Moms of Grace”. She is a young mother of three, one of whom suffers from Mitochondrial Myopathy and autism. You may have read and heard about her daughter throughout blogland: Emma Grace. Heather and Emma’s story touches me and gives such hope. Heather is a true follower of Christ and has the utmost faith in Him and I feel priveledged to “know” her and be able to pray for her little girl. She inspires me and definitely makes me “think”.

So, now it is my job to nominate 5 bloggers. How am I suppose to do that?!
BooMama: (Im laughing, she has already been nominated twice!!) Not only do I think she has an amazing design (*wink*) but she also makes me laugh- which is always a good thing. I love her spunk and her dedication to the Lord. Even in the midst of her humor, she manages to make you think. Her fun loving spirit always brings a smile to her readers faces, and I honestly don’t think she realizes how many tens of people she touches on a daily basis. \
Kelli : I dont even know where to begin with this beautiful gal. Her love for life, her amazing strength in the midst of what is the hardest reality a human being can face, and her laughter.. I could go on and on and on. I have such high respect for you Kelli. You are walking a road that we have walked, and you are sharing the kingdom of Christ with every person you pass along the way. Thank you for being such a blessing to me and many other bloggers. Thank you for making people stop and think about what is really important in life- even amidst the fear and the doubt and the pain- Thank you for pointing to the Cross.
Laura: Honestly, there is so much I could say about her. She is my dearest and closest friend in real life. She knows exactly what to say and when to say it. She swiftly kicks me in the rump when needed, and listens when I go on and on and on about really nothing at all. She has been my best friend for 5 years- and I am so thankful for her. Her blog will make you think about things like breastfeeding, grace based parenting, and the oh so popular topic of child led weaning. She is comfortable in her own beliefs, and I admire that so very much. (Did I mention she listens to me? :) )
Heather I have had the honor of getting to know Heather both online and off. She inspires me daily with her wealth of knowledge on homeschooling. Her blog is brimming with such great resources and encouragement. I am also honored to be a partner with her on the Homeschool Blog Awards. And she has an amazing southern drawl- I love me some “ya’lls” and “fixing to’s”
My Dad This one requires no words. I love you dad, so very much. Thank you for supporting me, for believing in me, and most of all for guiding me. Mark and I are so very thankful for everything you and Mom do for us and our children. I love you :)
And with that- I am off to finish school, get the carpets cleaned, and then off to soccer practice we go! Enjoy your Tuesday!

Awwwwwww, shucks! Yur 2 sweet. :) Thanks Heather.
Well, thank you a whole bunch. I think you’ve obviously confused me with someone else on the whole “thinking” front, but I’ll happily soak up your sweet encouragement.
And yes, my design ROCKS. :-) Thanks again for that - because it makes me smile every single day.
You’re very welcome! I’m glad it made your day! It’s very deserved. ;-)
