—Blank Stare—

Kelli and I were talking about this earlier this afternoon- Its an amazingly humbling experience, watching so many people give of themselves in order to bless you. I am amazed. I am in awe. I am so humbled.

I cant form the words, but my heart has so much to say. Thank you for caring about me. Thank you for loving my family. Thank you for standing in the gap for us.

I keep picturing the huge grin on Jesus’ face right now as he watches so many believers come together and take a stand in his name.

I stated this earlier, but it bears repeating:

What satan intends for my harm, Jesus will use for His glory.

I cant tell you how much this financial blessing means to us. I cant tell you the burden it has lifted off of my little family here in small town Florida. But more than anything, I cant tell you how much each and every one of you have touched us in ways you will never ever ever ever understand. No words will ever be able to express that.

So picture my entire family wrapping our arms around you, weeping and wiping snot all over your pretty shirts…. because your generosity has blessed our socks off.

Unbelievable.

God is good, isnt He? So very good.

Edited to add: Leigh asked how I was feeling, physically. The dizziness is almost gone, although I am still very careful when getting up and turning my head. Sometimes it still feels like the floor is falling out from under me (or the bed, if I am sleeping) The ENT specialist said that should subside in the next week or so… and then I will start “rehab” for my inner ear (Excercises to retrain my equalibrium).

Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I know many people would need to keep things very private. You are blessing us. I’m so thrilled for you that so many people have responded with love and moola to pour out on you!

What an honor and privelage it has been to come alongside you in prayer and support! You just keep taking care of yourself and your family and let us continue to stand in the gap for you!!

I hope you can picture us wrapping our arms around you… but more importantly… I hope and pray you sense God Himself wrapping His arms around you and filling your spirit with His very own!!!

Continuing to pray and be a “gap stander” on your behalf!!

    Hi Heather,

I am just one of the many other people you do not know. I just started reading your blog last week. I just want you to know that I see, hear and feel GOD all over you. I can imgaine him putting his arms around you and loving and comforting you. Every time I read your posts I get big tears welled up in my eyes. I am not crying for you because you have a tumor. Don’t get me wrong I don’t want you to have it but I cry because you get it. You get GOD. You make me want to shout praises to him. You know that everything is going to be alright as you said no matter what happens. That is the way we should all be. Yeah none of us want to go through the hard times but it’s how we handle ourselves when we do. When we claim to be Christians all through the good times it’s the hard times when people really pay attention to what we say, how we act. And not only once but twice you have shown, spoken and believed and put your trust in GOD for the world to see. You are a great teacher of the word and a great example of how we should live our lives through GOOD and HARD times. You are an inspiration, blessing and refreshing person. I pray I could handle the situations you have been in as well as you have. I will continue to cry with you, pray with you and rejoice with you. TO GOD BE THE GLORY. (I know this is long but you don’t have to post it in your comments its just something I had to share.)

I want to share your story with everyone I know…I really do. You remind me of the lady who leads our Bible study…she has been through SO MUCH in her 50 year walk with the LORD. Just right now, her daughter & 13-year old grandson are battling cancer. The doctors have said that the boy will probably die from his. And yet she is full of joy. She doesn’t like the circumstances, but she loves Jesus, and He has just filled her so much.

If you want to, she made a Myspace page, and you can contact her. I guarantee that she will pray for you if you ask, and love on you. I don’t know if that will help, but it’s just been on my heart for some reason. Heather, you haven’t been out of my heart today. I think every other thought was for you & your family and wondering how BooMama’s little lovin’ was going. It was awesome to come home finally and see.I’ve been singing hymns just thinking about it.
