Heather came out of surgery about 30 minutes ago. The tumor was the length of a dollar bill and pretty deep. There were no problems with bleeding, and she’s moving her arms and legs. She’s currently in recovery and not not off anesthesia yet. As soon as she is, they’ll put her in the ICU and then she’ll be there for about 24 hours. They’re not sure what her speech is like yet – Mark and her mom are waiting for her to wake up and then they’ll know more.

if memory serves, when my mother had a brain tumor removed they kept her out of it for a bit to promote healing. Perhaps that is what the plan is for Heather.

Praise God for the wonderful progress report thus far. I continue to pray for her ability to talk, sing, embrace her children and husband, and to smile once again.
Here is ther verse I prayed over you today:

I also sang the song, You were there” by Avalon. Have had you constantly on my mind! Praying a miracluous recovery and no more surgeries or radiation…just getting back to the business of living.
