Update at 1:30pm Florida time

I just spoke to Darlene, Heather’s mom. Heather went back to surgery about 1pm. She gave a smile as they wheeled her away.

The surgeon said that it would take about an hour to open her skull and an hour to close it. It will take around 2 hours to remove the tumor. They did end up shaving four little circles on her head that she was unprepared for. LOL

Darlene said she would give me a call when she heard anything else. They were off to take Emma to the park to let her run around and swing, her favorite thing.

I will update as soon as i know more. Promise. And keep on praying!!

-Laura

I had no idea that today was the National Day of Prayer…I’m taking that as a sign that this is the best possible day for Heather to have this surgery and there’ll be so much praying going on that she’ll be blanketed with prayers.

Thank you for the update…I’ll keep watching and waiting for the next one.

Jesus, Just as you cursed the fig tree and it shriveled up, we ask that you cause this tumor to also shrivel up. That it would have no hold on Heather and all its roots would release their hold never to return. As the Doctors are even now removing this invader from Heather’s brain we as You Lord God Almighty to steady their hands and brighten their eyes to see all that must be accomplished in this short expanse of time. May You Lord extend Your mercy to Heather and keep intact those areas You have created in her brain that cause her to remember her love for you and her family. May You protect her speech centers for her love of praising You and worshipping You brings as much joy to others as it does to You. Protect her areas of movement so that hugging her children and writing her blog will not be hampered in anyway. She so loves sharing her love of You with others. Jesus use Mark and Heather’s faith as a vehicle of might and power, mercy and Love to all they come in contact with during their stay. Uphold Mark at this very moment in a way that He will not even be able to find words to express the Love You are pouring out on him. As Emma swings with Laura’s Mom and Dad, let joy and peace abound, give them a garment of praise. As Easton and Elijah wait with Mark’s parents for You to do the Miraculous in their mommie’s life, surround them with your grace. Remove all fear and doubt for they stand in Your perfect Will abiding in Your deepest love. Bless everyone that bends a knee in honor of this sweet child of God. Make the mountain standing in Heather’s way crumble into the sea. Intercede for Your Beloved we pray.

You are Holy, You are worthy, You are Lord God Almighty. Is their anything to difficult for You? You we praise and Worship and adore You because we know that You are God In Your Sovereignty we bow to Your perfect will, knowing that You truly do loves us perfectly. Every gift is sent from the Father and Heather is such a rare gift.

Heather is in Your care. There is no safer more secure place in all the world for this Young mother to be. Into Your care, into Your arms. There is no place we would rather be nor any place we would rather have her. You are her refuge, her Hightower, her place of security and strength. From Everlasting to Everlasting You are God.

    Because of Jesus, Bobbie

I prayed last night during my shift and was surprised when my husband came and sat next to me to join me in prayer. We very very rarely pray together, out loud. I was so glad because I didn’t know how exactly to pray for Heather’s husband, not having his perspective.

I absolutely felt the Holy Spirit’s presence.

Today she popped into my head at just about the time she was going into surgery, it turns out.

    Praise GOD !!

My husband, his mother and I went to eat !

I was so anxious to get back home to read the blogs …I told them this story or her situation…..One of my favorite readings was when Mark told Heather he was going to be mad if she died—-because she will get to see Jesus first…..I love it !1

As I pulled into my driveway, SELAH was on the radio singing ” When I am weak, you raise me up……There was a previous blog with this song……I just knew God prevailed !!

I stand amazed as usual at GOD !!

We cannot stop praying now – Let’s stay on bended knee !!

To God be the Glory and we love you Heather !!
