I just spoke to Darlene, Heather’s mom. Heather went back to surgery about 1pm. She gave a smile as they wheeled her away.
The surgeon said that it would take about an hour to open her skull and an hour to close it. It will take around 2 hours to remove the tumor. They did end up shaving four little circles on her head that she was unprepared for. LOL
Darlene said she would give me a call when she heard anything else. They were off to take Emma to the park to let her run around and swing, her favorite thing.
I will update as soon as i know more. Promise. And keep on praying!!

Thanks, Laura. I am praying for her and her family.
I can see that right now there are a hundred visitors to this site and I hope that they are all praying as I am praying for divine guidance for the surgeons and health and long life for Heather to share with her family. Let the surgeons take care not to injure Heather’s brain and just remove all of the tumor.
Thanks, Laura. I know how stressful this is for you, as you are known as “Heather’s BFF”. Hugs to you, too and thank you for keeping us up to date…I’ve had Heather’s blog up all morning and hit refresh every few minutes or so. Hugs….

Lord, we know that Heather is in the Palm of our mighty Savior’s hand. Thank you Lord Jesus that YOU are able to deliver Heather from this tumor and it’s effects. We ask that YOU guide the surgeons hands and that YOU give them wisdom in this entire procedure. We give YOU thanks and praise. In Jesus’ Name.

That means there’s are over 100 people lifting her up in prayer right this very second as she’s being operated on. we’re all here with you.

Thanks for the update! I don’t know Heather physically, but I do feel some kind of a connection to her. I came across Heather’s website about 1 month ago and was taken by Emma Grace’s situation. I check all the updates that Heather has openly shared with us about her brain tumor everyday(usually about 3 or 4 times throughout the day), and have been praying for Heather’s surgery to go well. God Bless!
