I just spoke to Mark and Heather is still in surgery. The surgeons expected her to be done between 7:30 and 8 (Florida time). At the moment she is still under the scope and Mark will call me as soon as they’re done.

As I was praying this morning I offered up to God that try as I might I could NOT put myself in Heather’s shoes I just could not FATHOM what she’s going thru. But God whispered to my heart that I CAN relate to Mark and to her parents. My middle son has special needs, which include hydrocephalus and the use of a shunt to treat that condition. He’s had numerous shunt revisions and 2 shunt infections. I KNOW what that waiting room feels like and the thoughts and fears that run through your mind. This whole day all of I’ve thought of is not only Heather, but of her family in total limbo as they wait. THIS TOO SHALL PASS
love and prayers, xoxo melzie

still praying in NJ
Amazing how God brings together an internet “family” to pray for one we’ve never seen.
I am so glad to know that the surgery went well. You all are always on my mind and I miss you so much. I hope that the recovery is just as successful. Also if you read this I was wondering if it would be possible for Lera, Kara and I to come and visit you guys while you are here in Minnesota. We miss you dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love always Shara
