Update P.M. (Eastern)

I just spoke to Mark and Heather is still in surgery. The surgeons expected her to be done between 7:30 and 8 (Florida time). At the moment she is still under the scope and Mark will call me as soon as they’re done.

    Still praying!! God is with your family!!

    When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
    When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
    Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
    Until you come and sit awhile with me.

    You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
    You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
    I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
    You raise me up: To more than I can be.

    Pray without ceasing !!

    Father, we ask that you shine your beautiful face upon Mark right now and touch his heart with your love, grace, peace and overwhelming strength.

    We lift the doctors to you – Give them wisdom, endurance and strength, both mental and physical.

    Keep Heather in your hands and hold her body next to yours.

    We love you Lord, we thank you Lord, we praise your MIGHTY name. You are merciful, kind, gracious, strong, powerful, mighty, all knowing, YOU ARE and WILL ALWAYS BE KING of kings and LORD of lords.

    Father I ask that you reign victoriously over Heather. Renew Mark’s mind and body, as well as Heather’s. Father, I ask that you continue to hold Mark in your hands and sit next to him right now.

    WE, all of us across this world, join hands and lift Heather and Mark to you Lord…..You promised that if we can in twos, you would answer our prayers !! Father, we come in multiples of two united by YOUR love, sacrifice, courage, strength and BLOOD.

    “You’re just a prayer away
    No matter where I am
    I know in my heart
    You’re never too far
    When I’m losing my way
    You’re just a prayer away
    My strength is in my faith
    I’m never alone
    I’m never afraid
    Cause you’re just a prayer away
    When I close my eyes
    Lord, I call your name
    And the dark subsides
    Nothing can take the place
    Of the peace I find”

    It is unbelievable how many families this story has touched. I happened upon Heather’s story in another lady’s blog. Tonight, my husband and my two children prayed for Heather at dinner. I have been praying all day. I don’t even know her but I love her and admire her strength and faith. I am praying for a miraculous recovery for her because what a testimony that would be after all the prayers. God bless you, Heather. I hope you will wake up soon and have yet an another amazing story to tell.

    I’m a newcomer to “Especially Heather,” but when I read the “24 hours” posting, my eyes filled with tears. I felt the Holy Spirit’s presence close to this woman, and to me as I encountered her words. I worshipped along with the video clips, and prayed for her. Thanks for the updates, and I will pray. What a honor to do so for such a saint.
