Praising God with all the rest of you! Lots of songs came to people’s minds, and this is what came to mine, from Rich Mullins, If I Stand:
So if I stand let me stand on the promise
That you will pull me through
And if I can’t, let me fall on the grace
That first brought me to You
And if I sing let me sing for the joy
That has born in me these songs
And if I weep let it be as a man
Who is longing for his home
Keep standing on the promises…we’re praying!
thinking about you…so glad you came through. take it a day at a time and before you know it, life will be grand again. praying for you…be strong sister!!! =)
Jennifer (comment 351) made me cry! Worth repeating IMHO:
So if I stand let me stand on the promise
That you will pull me through
And if I can’t, let me fall on the grace
That first brought me to You
And if I sing let me sing for the joy
That has born in me these songs
And if I weep let it be as a man
Who is longing for his home
Four days out now, and I’m still praying and hoping that each day is betterthe the one before, that each moment is better than the last.
Out of ICU?
Back on a regular diet?
Better pain management?
Walking and Talking?
Let us know, we love you!

We sang this song is church yesterday:
Because He Lives I can face tomorrow
Because He Lives all fear is gone
And I know he holds the future
And Life is worth the living jsut because
He Lives.
Praise God!
