I have astrocytma grade 3. It does not have me by a long shot.
It carries with it sentence of 3 – 5 years. It doesnt, however, carry me with it.
What the devil means for my dismay, the Lord intends for my good. I have got a lot of living left to do, and I intend on living it.
I want to live. I want to see my children live.
I want to live.

thinking of you in CA.

For everything there is a purpose and as I see the number of people who come here daily to leave you well wishes and tell you how your story has impacted their lives and their relationship with God…I feel that could be the purpose of your situation. You are a mighty witness for God and your strong faith and determination is quite a testimony. Carry on!
You now know the name of this cancer. Knowing ones enemy makes it easier to fight. You will fight…and I believe with all my heart you will win. You are one of the strongest women I have ever come in contact with. This thing will not beat you…you will conquer it.
Keep taking things a minute, an hour, a day, a week at a time. Lean on God and all these people who come here each day to let you know that you’re in our thoughts and prayers. We’ll hold you up when you are struggling and we’ll be with you when you kick this cancer to the curb!
Continuing to pray for you daily.
Praising The Lord for your post! Typing and sending us a message, just DAYS after brain surgery! My goodness, if that’s not a sign that HE’S gonna heal you, what would be?
Praying and praying.
Colleen

Dear Heather,
I hope you won’t think me presumptuous but I feel compelled to share this information with you, just in case it might help. Someone very close to me was healed of leukemia after using this information, and there are several cases of healed brain cancer as well, including stage IV. I wish I had known about it earlier when my mom had her brain tumor, stage IV.

Yes, Lord! I agree with my sister!
YOU are amazing! Holding you up in the strongest prayers possible… You’ve been added to my list of Brain Tumor Warriors for whom I will walk at my local Relay For Life. EVERYONE will see your name and know that I am walking for you and they will then be walking for you, too! Much love from Wisconsin…
Heather, lift up your head and look around this this little blog world you have. If Our Father calls you home tomorrow,(which I do not believe He will) Look what your testimony has done for His Kingdom!!!!! You have brought people to a saving knowledge of Him, you have made Christians walk alittle closer, think a little harder, want more of what you have in your heart! To love our Lord more!
Sing, girl, sing! you have done in weeks what missionaries, churches & Christians of every kind have not done in their life times!
God has used you in a mighty way. and you have stood strong in the face of demons.
Go! shout it from the mountain tops, what our Lord can do!

Prayer changes things. And honey you have the hearts and prayers of so many.We are standing in the gap for you with hands stretched towards heaven. I know the Father is listening.
Heather, the fact that well over 200 hundred people before me left you a small message is HUGE! Your life is a true testimony to the strength, peace and grace that we can all acheive if we’d just let go and trust God in all things. God has done, and will keep on doing a mighty work through you.
OUR God is an AWESOME God, He REIGNS from Heaven above, with WISDOM, POWER and LOVE, OUR God is an AWESOME GOD!
You’re a perfect example that God works ALL things for the GOOD of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.

Way to go, Heather! Attitude is EVERYTHING!!!!
Lots of love in Jesus Christ and lots and lots of prayers too.
I know so many have said it in the comments but we cannot praise God enough. So we praise our Mighty God. He is the Great I AM. He can do anything, He can make the impossible possible.

Heather,
I have found your site via a Mommy Blog, via a childs leukemia Cringbridge page, via many brain tumor websites and blogs . The BT pages are were I originated my journey over 3 yrs ago. My brother was diagnosed with a GBM (aka astrcytoma grade 4 )in march of 2004. He was given a prognosis of 12-18 months. He is and has been working, playing , and living as normal of a life as he did befor the BT. (new normal of course, as you know “everything” changes) I just wanted to let you know attitude and prayer are everything. And those statistics are just that, statistics, numbers given to the masses. Everyone is an individual dont listen to the numbers. God Bless, Jo Anne, Peter’s little sister
You are a very strong, brave and faithful woman. I have no doubts that you will beat this. God IS wonderful. Look at all these well wishes from across His WORLD! Praying for you daily in Canada.
What positive confessions of faith. I have been looking forward to your updates.
Blessings . . .
Standing in agreement with you!!

Heather, you are in my prayers! Hang in there!
You are very much in my prayers, God is holding you tightly.
I fully believe that God brings us to situations like this to allow HIS name to be glorified and for people to watch in amazement as He works in your life. Our GOD is BIG and He CAN completely heal you of this sickness. He has your life in His dear hands and is in control, not the doctors.
Continue to allow HIS light to shine thru you. You are in my prayers.

Joining with you and all the others from Colorado!
Still praying Heather. I won’t quit. God is so faithful and we’re all praying for your complete healing. Blessings sister.
This does not own you. It does not define you. You, as a living daughter of the King, have work to do here and now for His glory. That has been the passion I’ve witnessed in you over these past few months, and the effect has been far reaching for Jesus. There is still work to be done for His Kingdom, and I will pray for Him to give you renewed vision. You are His. Jesus owns you. He is your life, here and eternally.
Still praying,
Elisa
Your attitude is the best.God is using you in so many ways-thanks for sharing your story.
You are in my prayers!
“But still. Still bless me anyway. I want more life. I can’t help myself. I do. I don’t know if it’s not braver to die, but I recognize the habit; the addiction to being alive. So we live past hope. If I can find hope anywhere, that’s it, that’s the best I can do. It’s so much not enough. It’s so inadequate. But still bless me anyway. I want more life.” – Angels in America
I just had my 17th chemo treatment today, battling the beast for the second time in six years. I am 42. I want to live too.
Thinking of you and your family and wishing you a lot MORE LIFE.
Hugs,
Kelly
Heather and Mark
I am so glad you had a chance to watch the show.
Prayerfully loving you guys.
Because of Jesus, Bobbie
You’re in my prayers every morning and night.
Brandi (comment #84), I clicked over to your blog and read about your little girl!
Lord, be with Brandi and her husband as they face these difficult decisions deciding how to treat their daughter’s tumor. Bless her family with Your presence and make Yourself known to them beyond any doubt. We trust You that all things work together for good; Lord we cannot know the outcome, but we know through the example of Your work in Heather’s life that You are fully and completely in control. Be with Brandi’s daughter Thursday as she goes in for surgery.
Amen.
Heather,
I am praying for you.
Praying with you !!!

Your unshakeable faith is truly an inspiration! The Lord will lift up you and yours and be your strength — no doubt about it. You are in sooooo many prayers that cancer just doesn’t have a chance.
Many, many blessings and prayers.
Encouragement – The doctors gave a prognosis to a man in 1972 that he would live no more than two to five years. He is still alive and is pastoring our church today 35 years later. Only God has the final say!
Live on sister for ALL the days God has appointed for you!
You give us all courage, and just know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. For the long haul. And the “sentences” handed out by the Drs are based in science, that is not always predictable. NOT what God has planned.
Our God is an awesome God, and you are living that proof.
Keep us updated!!
We love you Heather!!
You will, darling, with God’s grace.Loving you and praying for you.
I am praying for you, dear.
Heather,I include you in my prayers and Communion at daily Mass. You are in good hands.
Love and Lots of Prayers ,
Rachel
Heather,
I am keeping you in my daily prayers. I’ve been watching that show since it started. Your story hits close to home for me. I believe that God still answers our prayers. maybe not the way we would like sometimes, but HE knows best. Last year My Aunt passed April 26th from Breast Cancer after fighting hard for 5 yrs. She was only 50. Her oldest daughter is walking in Avon’s walk this Oct in memory of her. Then June 8th (the day before my daughter’s b-day) my Uncle passed away from Liver Cancer, he was also in his 50′s. They were my Dad’s sister and brother. I am scared that my dad may one day also get cancer, but I will not let that rule my live. I will put all of my faith in the lord. You are truly a inspiration to me. I am thankful for your story. May God Bless you and place His Loving arms around you as you continue on this journey of healing.
Blessings,
Kelly K from NC
