    Heather,
You don’t know me, but I have been following your journey and praying for you for a little while now.

I make a regular monthly post at my blog called Praying For Our Daughters. Around the 30th or 31st of each month. Every month as a new focus of prayer and scriptures that mothers, and fathers, can pray for their daughters.

As I was writing this month’s entry, I felt prompted by the Holy Spirit, to send it personally to you. This month’s focus is on Courage. I thought that was neat and figured that your mother could pray these scriptures for you, your husband could change the wording “my daughter” to “my wife”, and you could even pray them for yourself. Then when I came to your blog and saw that it was time for Emma’s transplant clinic, I realized just how good God is and how involved He is the very fabric of our lives.

So with that, I am including these scriptures for you and your family to pray over you and your daughter. I hope that you will be blessed.

Focus of Prayer for June 2007

    ~ COURAGE ~

Perfect God, grant my daughter the courage that only You can give. Help her to remember that You promised in Your word that she can do all things through Jesus and that she should never be afraid or discouraged or dismayed because You her God, will be with her always. Thank You, God. In Jesus name, for filling my daughter with courage, Amen.

God in accordance with Your word . . .

I pray that my daughter will never fear, for You, God, are with her, I pray that she will not be dismayed, for You are her God. I pray that You will strengthen her and help her and that You will uphold her with Your righteous right hand.
    ~Isaiah 41:10

I pray that my daughter will be persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities nor powers, no things present, nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate her from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus her Lord.
    ~ Romans 8:38-39

I pray that my daughter shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
    ~Psalm 118:17

I pray that You, the eternal God, are my daughter’s refuge and that You will thrust out the enemy from before her.
    ~Deuteronomy 33:27

I pray that my daughter can do all things through Christ who strengthens her.
    ~Phillipians 4:13

I pray that my daughter will wait on you Lord, and she be of good courage and You shall strengthen her heart.
    ~Psalm 27:14

I pray that my daughter does not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try her, as though some strange thing happened to her; but that she will rejoice to the extent that she partakes of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, she may also be glad with exceeding joy.
    ~1 Peter 4:12-13

I pray that when my daughter passes through the waters, You will be with her; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow her. When she walks through the fire, she shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch her for You are the Lord her God.
    ~Isaiah 43:2-3

I pray that my daughter’s weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes for her in the morning.
    ~Psalm 30:5

I pray that my daughter will be of good courage and that You shall strengthen her heart, for her hope is in you Lord.
    ~Psalm 31:24

I pray that my daughter shall obtain joy and gladness and that sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
    ~Isaiah 51:11

I pray that my daughter will wait on You,Lord, and that she shall renew her strength. I pray that she shall mount up with wings like eagles, that she shall run and not be weary, that she shall walk and not faint.
    ~Isaiah 40:31

I pray that may daughter will be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgivig, will let her requests be made known to You, God.
    ~Phillipians 4:6

I pray that whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely whatever things are of goo report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - that my daughter will meditate on these things.
    ~Philippians 4:8

    Lord Jesus,
Thank you for all you have done so far for Heather and for Emma. The strength of character and faith You are developing in this family is visible to all. Parents are good at enduring their own struggles, but when it is our child, well, you know. Please give Heather Good News today. Continue to increase her faith through her hope. Put Your arms around Emma and let all go well for her.

Be with her doctor and give him insight into all of Emma’s needs. Those seen and those unseen. Bless him for chosing this field of medicine and give him your heart for the children.
    Because of Jesus, Bobbie
