Reading your comments on Fridays post, I realized that we all have someone who has touched our lives, and I want to ask that you tell their story on my blog in the comments. Melinda and Amber’s story (and the story of their mom) touched my heart so deeply, who is to say that you and your story won’t do the same for someone else. When I started this blog, I wanted to be able to minister to every person who reads it. I wanted this place to be Christ’s tool. This is what living is all about, its about touching lives one at a time- in a deep personal way. It is about sharing your soul, unselfishly, and telling your story… even if it only touches one life. When I read your comments I felt compelled, no I felt convicted to make this request. There are so many positive stories out there, and maybe yours will be the one that touches someones heart.
I will leave this post up until Tuesday, and then I will put a link to it at the top of my blog, so that it is easily visible to all who visit.
Write about anyone in your past (or present) who has touched you in a deep way.. write about why they touched you. Don’t be afraid of the length of your comment, and don’t be intimidated by the number of comments this post may get. So many of you made the same comment regarding how in this world of pain and suffering, it is so good to know that there are good people out there. Here is your chance to tell us about those good people.
So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on Hebrews 10:24-25 (The Message)
