Heather honey – Hang in there, so many of us are praying for you. I went through high dose chemo in 1998. I had only a small chance of survival (stage 4 lymphoma), and would wonder “is this worth it?” Well yes it surely was! Since I went into remission…a nice long remission still going strong after 9 years…I have seen my children graduate, two of the three kids have married wonderful people and the third has a great boyfriend, my career exploded like I could never have expected, I have traveled and seen many great places, and most importantly…I have seen 4 healthy, JOYFUL grandchildren born! So YES, this will be worth it. Our God is faithful and you are strong! This will be a blip in your overall journey here on earth. You will be OK. You will thrive and hold your grandbabies!

I’m so sorry. Praying for you. Today maybe you can just teach them – without words or books – that you love them, that God is faithful, and that bad days are still worth the trouble. Good lessons.
Your children are blessed that you are their teacher. Trust me on that.

I hope your body adjusts quickly to the new regimen and that your nausea subsides. Don’t push yourself too hard on the homeschooling. perhaps it’s time to incorporate a little “unschooling” into the curriculum.

I’ve come to visit via Arlenes blog (www.lovinggodandlife.blogspot.com). You are so beautiful – not many could look that good without hair! I am praying for you and I have added you to my Wednesday blog which is strictly used that day to ask for healing in the name of Jesus. It has become “By His Stripes” day and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is able.

Dear Heather…What a spunky and courageous little one you are!!
Here you are making us laugh even though you are the one that is going through so much!
I am referriing not to this lovley song but to the downside of cancer list that you made…
I agree with A & E’s husband.

You are beautiful! I just caught up on your posts and I copied your prayer requests to help me know how to pray for you. You will get through this chemo – we’ll be here for you. And you know Jesus is with you, too. May the Lord be merciful to you and give you more good days than not-so-good chemo days. I last wrote of my sadness over my husband needing surgery sometime in the future. The Lord has lifted that sadness somewhat, thankfully. Keep my focus on Him. Right? I hope your children do well as they settle into their new school routine. They are so cute – what a blessing to have them.
