Many of you have asked how I kept my eyelashes and eyebrows… I lost my hair due to radiation, not chemo
The type of Chemo that I am on doesnt cause you to lose your hair (well, I guess if it mentions it in the side effects, someone lost their hair on it, but not many do) I dont go out bald very often because I have a scar across my scalp where they opened my head up and took the tumor out. It isnt a very pretty site
I can feel screws, literally, on the surface of my scalp under the skin. I can feel where they cut out a piece of my skull and put it back in, jagged edges and all
But I am still here, and that is what is important, right?

YEAH! Two beautiful pics for WW! My little one just lost his tooth too! Happy WW!
I forgot to add that I love the T-shirt!
Gorgeous.
You go girl!
The shirt says it just right……
One of my best friends has termincal breast cancer. She’s the most amazing woman I know. You’re in wonderful company.
My eldest lost his tooth in Micheal’s a week ago. I have it in my purse. LOL!
Emma looks so cute. I love little smiles with teeth missing at that age : )
Love, love your shirt. You look beautiful, Heather. Praying for you this morning, dear one. So glad to hear you slept and feel a little more ready to face the day.
Truly Heather you look great with no hair. Not a lot of people can say they can pull off the “no hair” look and still look beautiful, but I do believe you are one of those “lucky ones” that can. You have amazing eyes by the way….but I am sure you know that.
I hope this is an awesome day for you and your family.
Trudy
You are so beautiful and i love that shirt! Congratulations Emma!!!
You look awesome. The beauty that lays inside you just SHINES on the outside.
Emma looks so precious.
Nothing like waking up and seeing TWO of my most favorite people in the world!!!
Congrats to Emma!!!! what a big girl she is!!!

Two stunning ladies! I love your shirt! I swear you are stronger than anything Heather. I’m amazed by you. And Emma, is she really old enough to be losing teeth? She’s just too cute!!
Both beautiful shots! Continue your strength!
I am SO jealous that you have eyebrows and eyelashes…I looked a bit rabbity for the longest time….

Great picture and a perfect t-shirt!
Congrats to your newly toothless gal!
She’s too sexy for her hair,
Too sexy for her shirt,

I like the look. Smoldering, I would call it. I’m so glad you are feeling better with the new meds.
Hugs!

Steph

My son lost his first tooth yesterday..here is to toothless children
You’re beautiful!!!!!
Hey Emma! What a sweetie!
You look fabulous! Yes, bald and fabulous…it brings out those beautiful eyes even more.
And look at big girl, Emma Grace. She is so preciously cute.
To your blog a few days ago. “whatever Lord” remember the song “I will never be the same again” one of the verses says…”whatever you need to do, Lord do in me.”
Just thought that might be a good song for you to worship to.
You are my crown of jewels.
see you later
beautiful!!
I love the shirt! My little cousin had one. He was only 5 when he had cancer! He is doing great now! I wish I would have had a shirt like that when I went through my cancer! It is cool!
That is interesting that the chemo does not make your hair come out. I am sure yours will start growing back quickly now. Mine started coming in straight and then all of a sudden it got SUPER curly!! It was fun while it lasted as I have never had curly hair. It lasted about 9 months or so and then started going away. It is a bit wavy now, but not curly anymore. It will be fun to see how yours comes back. I was hoping to come back as a red head, but it didn’t work! I had more gray than when I started and so I had to color my hair now! Anyway, I think you look great with or without hair!
Love, Gina
Love the T-shirt, Heather, it says it all. Have a blessed week.
Hugs,
Norma
What a GREAT WW. Emma is adorable! And you are gorgeous! Love the TShirt. Still praying
Love the shirt; I agree – it says it all. Love the pictures!!! Emma is so beautiful!!!
Beautiful pictures. They both show how losing something can give us hope as we look forward to the regrowth (teeth and hair!)
What an awesome shirt! And I agree, you are beautiful! Cute lost teeth pic too. My son is in 1st grade and just lost his first tooth about 2 weeks ago.
I often wonder if you had a “weak stomach” before all of this.
That is unbelievable how you described what you physically feel on your head.
I have a weak stomach. It was my hard for me to read.
But, I know it was harder for YOU to LIVE.
Yes, you ARE HERE and your God is with you – and that’s all that matters.
Losing teeth is sooooooo much fun (well, for kids…LOL). What did the tooth fairy bring her?????? Don’t leave us in suspense!
The shirt is awesome!
And you and Emma are both gorgeous!
Beautiful, just beautiful! You look amazing. It WILL get better for you. Emma Grace is just THE cutest little girl and losing her teeth means she is GROWING UP!!! That is a good thing.
Love and Prayers for ALL of you,
Betty G. (Oklahoma)
You look like a rock star! You really look wonderful and I know God is walking through this with you, every step of the way. You little one is adorable!
Love the music as well. You are in my prayers.
Hugs!
Look at the two sweetie pies! You are stronger than your cancer because you are not defined by your cancer! You are a beautiful child and woman of God!
All my love and prayers, Heather!
xo
Beautiful both of you!
I’m glad you are having a better week. You are in my prayers…
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL!!!! You are encouraging us all Heather.
You are being real and honest and staying faithful to Jesus! Praying for you….
You have a nice shaped head and carry being bald well… better then most men do. We call my husband Uncle Fester when he shaves his head. With your eyebrows and eyelashes still intact it’s a stunning look.
My sil has reoccurring brain tumors- they have been removed in the course of two surgeries over the years and are not cancerous. (last surgery was in Jan of last year) I am sorry you have cancer, it is good that you have the Lord and are relying on him.
I love your shirt!
You are beautiful Heather.
Still praying for you dear Heather. Pretty pictures
I liked the video of the two musicians singing the psalm.
You are one beautiful woman!! You’ve taught me so much, my life is richer having followed your story.
Blessings,
Sue
You look MAHHHHHVELOUS baby!
Outstanding photo. Your t-shirt says it all. I’m glad I stumbled upon you today. happy WW!
I AGREE ILLNESS MAKES YOU A DIFFERENT PERSON…”DONT SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF” IS OUR MOTO IN OUR FAMILY..CANT CHANGE EVERYTHING ANYWAY AND DONT MAKE BIG PLANS BECAUSE SOMETHING FOR SURE WILL COME UP ANYWAY AND WE HAVE TO CANCEL…
FORGIVE THE PEOPLE THAT YOU CAN….BUT I KNOW MYSELF I JUST CANT FORGET THAT EASY….
JUST THINK ABOUT “YOU” AND LET THE REST GO…..
WE ARE ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT YOU…BE STRONG
