Echoing Angels

November 1, 2007

I received this in my email and am blown away:

Hello my name is Chris Peevy I am the singer of Echoing Angels. I read your blog and just wanted to tell you how amazed and thankful I am that you have been touched by a song I wrote to worship God. Your heart is beautiful and I wanted to tell you stay strong and we are praying for you and your family.

Stay strong, and believe that God has a purpose and a meaning for all things.

Your NEW biggest fan,
Chris Peevy

Chris,
Thank you so much for praying for me and encouraging me, but more than that, thank you for what you do. Your band has been a favorite of mine since I first heard “You alone”. Since my cancer diagnosis your songs have touched me in a very personal way. Thank you for you for allowing God to use you to reach out and touch someone like me. I am humbled, honestly that you read my blog, and that you took time out to write me and encourage me.

God is using you and your band in a mighty mighty way to bless people all over the world. I know, because I am one of them…

Your OLD biggest fan ;)

Heather,
It does not surprise me at all that Chris Peevy emailed you, and that he reads your blog. My church in NC hosted Echoing Angels for a concert back in the summer, and our family had the chance to spend a little time with them during a meal. Those guys (and their wives/girlfriends) are the real deal, genuine and are super, super people. I know that God is going to continue to bless them and their ministry.
Praying for you,
Terri

Heather,
I so apreciate your blogging and although my heart breaks for you and your family on so many levels, I also know you are living and sharing the message of Jesus in such a powerful way; thank you for your bold testimony. You are such a blessing to so many, I wanted to share with you something that I hope will be a blessing to you. I don’t know if you have ever heard of Louie Giglio, but he is the founder of Passion International, a ministry to college students. He is also an incredible speaker and member of our church. He spoke recently on Hope and his 2 part message is not only so powerful, but the bottom line message reminded me of you. I hope you will take the time to visit this website and listen to these two messages–you can actually view them. The site is http://www.northpoint.org/messages and the dates are Sept 9 and 16. I pray you will watch them and be incredibly blessed.

Heather, I think you are absolutely wonderful. You give so much of yourself to all of us who are blessed enough to read about you. You give people hope. You offer people the chance to reflect on their own lives and appreciate what they have. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for that.

29 Casey November 14, 2007 at 12:55 pm

Heather,
I saw the email from Chris Peevy by chance online. My husband has know the drummer (Jon)since boyhood and we both went to middle/highschool with Jon and Josh and I am so excited these guys are making a difference for God! Be encouraged and never lose faith in knowing that God has a plan for us all!
