All I Need..

When the day is done
And there’s no one else around
While I’m lying here in bed
You’re in my heart, You’re in my head
You’re all I need, You’re all I need
There are a million voices
Calling out my name
But You’re the One I want to hear
So make the others disappear

You are all I need when I’m surrounded
You are all I need if I’m by myself
You fill me when I’m empty
There is nothing else
You’re all I need

When the morning comes
And Your mercy is renewed
There’s a fire in my bones
I’m not afraid to go alone

You’re all I need
You’re all I need
The sun on my face
I hear You whisper loud
You’re still the God that opens seas
Every flower, even me

You’re all I need
You’re all I need

I’m drawn to everything that You do
Nothing compares with You

I’m off to support group ;) Have a blessed Thursday…

Thank you for your inspirational blog. I just finished 6 rounds of chemo after my extensive surgery for breast cancer and can relate to everything you say….but most importantly the importance of God in our lives. My daughter sent me the link to your blog and I will be following your progress. (our hair may grow back together!) Your faith has helped her through the tough time of watching and helping her mom when she was so sick. Even though she is an adult now, I’m still her mom and I can only imagine how tough it has been. I will be praying for you every day, Heather. We will fight our worldly battles with the grace and guidance of the Lord to give us the strength we need. One day at a time. Have a blessed day. A new friend, Sharon

Hoping you have a great day at your support group, and that you feel supported.:) I say this because you are so inspirational to others, you deserve it coming back to you. You have made a new friend (up? down? there) in Sharon and boy are you going to bless each other and all of us. I am looking forward to your weekend and praying the Lord blesses you abundantly. I love you and pray you smile all day:)

If you are taking these words with you to your support group it is you that will be lifting them up today.
May the Lord encompass you all with His grace and extend His mercies in a new way today.

Heather, I love listening to Joel Osteen
and this was my “subscribed to” inspiration for today….perfect!!!

    He is the Healer

    Today’s Scripture

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3).

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria

Aren’t you glad that God is a healer! It doesn’t matter what is “broken” in your life today, God’s nature is to bring you complete healing. Do you need healing in your body? Your mind? Heart? Finances? Relationships? God is your healer. Notice what the Psalmist says in this verse: He binds up their wounds. In the natural, if you have a broken arm, it doesn’t just heal over night. The doctor makes a cast to hold it in place and protect it. He binds up your wound. In the spiritual realm, God does the same thing. He wraps Himself around your brokenness and protects the wounded area until it is strong enough to function properly again. The Bible also says that He is a restorer. That means that when He does a work of healing in our lives, He makes us better than we were before. If you’re going through the healing process today, know this: it may take longer than you planned, but God is binding up your wound. He is protecting you and healing you. He will bring you out better and stronger than you were before. He will take you to a place of complete healing so that you can live the life of victory He has in store for you.

    A Prayer for Today

Father in heaven, thank You for being my healer. Thank You for restoring every area of my life. I give You everything that I am today. Use me for Your glory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

    He is THE HEALER!!!!!!

Heather, Since you changed your theme, there is a big space at the top of your blog on my system here at work. I’m not sure if my system is blocking something or what. The new theme is nice but I showed my coworker the tree one because it just was so cool ! I am so happy that you continue to be creative with your site. Your design work is what lead me here but your love of Jesus is what keeps coming back and supporting you during this time.

Have a wonderful time this weekend, I can’t wait to hear about it! Remember one day at a time.

  25. Hill Country Thoughts says:

    Hi Heather,

    Thank you for sharing this!

When I was going through Chemo and Radiation, two surgeries, a divorce after 29 years, it truly was the Lord that sustained me and carried me through.

Hill Country Thoughts was birth from all of that I went and I learned the Lord did not waste one thing, that He has used it to touch others and as I begin to read backwards your posts, you too are touching others.

Thank you for writing from the heart. It is not always easy.

I see my oncologist this Friday, and this will be starting my 5th year of being cancer free.

Your family and you will daily be in my prayers.

    Writing for the King,

    Paul
