If you haven’t heard yet, Boomama is again hosting The Christmas Tour of Homes and this year I am participating, oh yes I am…. so let the festivities begin!

This is my entry way table. You would never believe that this was once my Kitchen table ๐ My dad sawed it in half and the other larger half is bolted to the dining room wall as a desk ๐
These are a few of my favorite things on my entry table. My most favorite thing is the angel holding up “hope”. ๐

My Dining Room Armoire. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get the lights to not do that in the picture!

This is what I call my “Angel Table”. My oldest daughter, Easton’s nick name is “angel” so it was only appropriate that her pictures went on the angel table too!

So from our house to yours, We pray you have a very memorable Christmas. Remember to make lots of memories and to keep Christ the center of Christmas…. It is all about Him after all!

I love the angel table, and the santa on the lamp! shoot i love it all! great works!
It looks beautiful! How creative to saw your dining table in half and rework it.
It’s beautiful!!! (And I like the squiggly lights too.)
Heather,
Everything is so beautiful and inviting!!!
Merry Christmas!
Sue
Everything looks beautiful.
My thoughts and prays travel with you along your way this Christmas season and beyond.
It’s beautiful! We have a tour up on my blog too, so everyone come and visit. ๐
Merry Christmas! Your tree and home look so festive. Thanks so much for having us in. ๐ฏ
Wonderful to see your love poured out in each room.
Thanks for sharing the “half table” so clever, I’ll be copying that idea for sure!
With my prayers, Martha
O.K.Sunshine, how can you saw a table in half and have the ‘bigger’ half as a desk?
Sounds a bit like what I would say.
Thanks for sharing, may you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and may 2008 bring all your dreams to reality. Carol from Australia
The plastic ornaments look great! I had a near miss with one of my glass ornaments this year…silly dog knocked it off on the tile, but miraculously, it didn’t break.
Merry Christmas! I read your blog often and you always encourage and inspire me. God bless.
Can I borrow your dad? I have a few chores I could give him, and he seems to do a wonderful job. ๐ Blessings for a wonderful Christmas and a HEALTHY new year. love, Gretchen
It looks beautiful, I love those plastic ornaments and I just got a Target gift card, hope there are some left !
Your home decorations are simply lovely! I too have that set of Angels and they sit atop of my bakers rack looking down upon our family. God Bless ๐
I love the Willow Tree angel holding the heart. For the past few years, my 92 year old blind grandmother has insisted on going downtown and buying me and my sister each one of these. She feels each angel till she finds one that represents what she wants to convey to us. She’s never duplicated, and she only does this for the 2 of us: our brothers and all our cousins just get checks for Christmas. I now have a little collection that I know I’ll treasure forever.
Beautiful! Love the plastic ornaments.
Merry Christmas to you too, Heather!
And I love love love love love that table idea!
Blessings,
Karla
Merry Christmas Heather! We’re promoting the heavy use of plastic as well, here in the house of Fiddle.
One of my favorite things also…the angel holding HOPE as well…in my room where I see it before I go to bed. Yahoooey about the MRI too…see you next year! Love in Him, Lynnebee
Lovely!
Thank you for inviting us in to view all your Christmas decorations. Everything looks so beautiful, warm and festive. I love the “thing” your lights did in that one picture! They looked ALIVE! Ha!Ha! I like glitzy stuff anyway.
Thanks for the tour – I LOVE the idea of the table! I’m so glad you’re able to enjoy Christmas this year! Be Blessed! (p.s. – I have kept up with your story on and off. I found you several months before your cancer was discovered. I have a six year old son with austism.)
Merry Christmas to you and your family. Your home looks so pretty. ๐
I just found your blog last evening. I’m at a loss for words…just know that I’ll keep you and your family in my prayers.
The look and feel of your home is so inviting and warm. I’m praising God with you for the clear MRI and my prayers will continue, especially as you travel.
Merry Christmas Heather! Thrilled to hear about your MRI…and I love seeing your festive decorations!
Everything is so pretty! I agree whatever makes life easier is worth it – you’d never know the ornaments are plastic, either! ๐
I love your plastic ornaments and I think they ARE classy!! (Then again, mine are plastic, too!) There’s nothing better with pets and small children around. ๐
Your energy and faith are amazing. You’re a shining example of both. I pray the Lord blankets you and your family in the Holy Spirit and makes this new year the best year yet for all of you.
Merry Christmas for you and your family and happy ney year.Feliz Navidad y feliz aรยฑo nuevo.
Hi, thanks for the tour. Just getting round some more of the homes from the tour. So a very belated Merry Christmas for 2007, or can I be the first to say Merry Christmas for 2008 ๐
Been reading some of your other posts, and there are prayers for you coming from N Ireland tonight too.
Hugs.
