Sick as a dog…
April 25, 2008
I just wanted to pop in and tell you guys that I had an MRI after all at my Wednesday Oncology appointment, and it was clear! My platelet’s are 154,000 and I am good to go for the next round of chemo starting Monday.
I have been sick since Wednesday with a croupy cough and fever, so I apologize for not updating sooner.
I will update soon, I promise.. but for now I am going to go lay under the warm blankets and try to break this fever that keeps coming and going.
Until then….

Oh Lord Jesus,
Thank you! Thank you for the joy of results that show NOTHING! How exciting to have nothing there at all, to your Glory!
Heather, I couldn’t be more happy for you. Well maybe a bit more if your fever broke and you were out enjoying the sunshine!
Have a blessed weekend.

I hope you’re feeling better soon and are up and around in no time, Heather. Glad that your test results came back with no major problems indicated. Take care of yourself and don’t push yourself to get better quicker rather than later. Let Mark pick up some of the load, especially the kids (I’m not trying to imply that he doesn’t already do that, for the record… just reminding you, more or less, that he’s there for you and your kids), and just rest for right now.
I know from experience (albeit not “cancer experience”) that clinic visits can be stressful in themselves (undergoing tests, waiting for results, etc.). Sometimes our bodies need a few days to recover from the excitement of everything that’s gone on during a clinic visit, even if no invasive testing was done.
God’s peace be with you and your family!
Hi Babe
Prayed for you today. Worship was good (as usual
) but not the same with out your beautiful presence.
Love you dearly,
See you later.
