Student of the Month Photos

April 28, 2008

Thank you all for your prayers, I went to the emergency clinic on Saturday and found out that I have a nasty case of bronchitis, which has set my vertigo in a tail spin…You should hear me cough, I sound like a walrus! It reminded me of this time, last year, when the floor felt like it was falling out from beneath me. Which also reminded me that a year ago next Saturday will be one year since my tumor removal at Mayo. Which in turn, reminded me to be so very thankful for the last year and all that it has brought me, good and bad.

On to Miss Emma. Thursday she received her student of the month award at her school:

Student of the Month:
Emma Grace

So very proud!
Proud as can be...

Mrs. Laura, Emma’s Autism teacher:
Emmas Teacher, Mrs Laura

Today is my sons 8th birthday. (Happy birthday Elijah! I love you soo very much!) We are going to my parents house to eat hamburgers and hot dogs, and open his presents.

Then home by 9pm to take chemo…

I love my beautiful life.

congratulations, Emma, on Student of the Month, what a proud moment for you and your family. Bronchitis was something I always got when I was undergoing cancer treatment also. Gee, wonder if there is a link here somewhere  Praying that you get to feeling better and that you all enjoyed Elijah’s birthday cookout at Grandma and Grandpa’s. Happy Big 8th Birthday Elijah.

I also can’t believe it’s been a year! Happy birthday to Elijah. Congratulations to Emma.

Hope your cough goes away soon. I just got an e-mail that said if you apply Vick’s vaporub on your feet really good it will stop your cough. What a strange thing….but you have a cough so there you go! I’m passing along the strangeness to you. :)

happy birthday to your son! I just have to say that picture of Emma and her teacher is so wonderful. Look at their arms wrapped around eachother. I could only hope a teacher would have that kind of love for my child. How precious.
I sure hope you feel better soon. Maybe you have been pushing yourself too hard, and God is giving you time to allow yourself some much deserved down time? Your a great mom and it shows in all you do. I so wish some day I could sit down with a glass of tea and talk to you. I think you have so much to teach us!
