Tomorrow…

Miss Em has her annual Transplant appointment tomorrow in Gainesville. Please pray that it goes well, and that she gets rave reviews from her doctors.. Please pray for me and my memory, that I will retain all that the doctors say and ask the questions that need to be asked. Pray for my nerves and my anxiousness… she has done so well for so long. Pray for her strength, and mine. We have to leave by 5:30am tomorrow morning, and she cant eat or drink anything after midnight tonight. Pray for my dad also, he will be going with us.

I am so thankful for her health. I was thinking about this last night, this is her 6th annual transplant appointment, 6th. That is 6 years that she shouldn’t have according to the doctors. 6 birthdays. 6 Christmas’, 6 years. When I think back, I see God’s hand all over her life.

She is such a miracle and words cannot describe my deep pride and love for all she has accomplished and still has yet to accomplish.

Words cannot describe….

Emma at the Park

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
you formed me in my mother’s womb.
I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking!
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared
before I’d even lived one day.

Psalm 139:16

    She truly is a miracle! I am so happy for the 6 years God has given your family with sweet Emma. I am encouraged each time I see her. Knowing she has made it 6 years since transplant gives us great hope for Ashley Kate and her transplanted organs. Thank you for sharing her with the world.

    A beautiful little girl with a beautiful purpose on this earth!

    Do you have a tape recorder you could take with you to assist your memory about what they say?

    Make a list of your questions…. Mark could help you make the list your questions you both want answered.

    You will do fine, Heather. You and Emma are both miracles!

    Love & Prayers, :smile:

    I know, I know…I’m saying it yet again…I’m playing “catch up” with my blog reading. It happens more often than I ever thought possible. But I’m not complaining though. My life is full and happy, so sometimes I get behind.

    I’ll be praying for you all. Miss Em is a doll. Praise God she’s been doing so well. Have a safe trip.

    Hugs!
