Happy Birthday to Emma Grace. I can’t say how pleased I am that she’s improving. You are all in my prayers.
Something in the pictures of Miss Em doesn’t make sense to me… she’s 7 years old… why did the hospital put her in what looks to be a crib??
Regardless, it’s FANTASTIC that Emma is well enough to come home now. No one should have to spend their entire birthday in a hospital. I am relieved to hear that the root of her problems this time around was due to a virus and not something more serious.
I’m also relieved, I guess you could say, that her teachers at school were so on top of things when she got sick, so that she could be taken to the hospital and begin treatment right away. Otherwise, precious time could have been wasted if they’d brushed off her symptoms until she came home to you from school that day, way after the problem began to manifest itself.

God’s peace to you and your family, Heather. Are you in the midst of another chemo cycle right now? If so, I hope that this cycle is being kind to your body. You don’t need THAT stress on top of what you’ve been dealing with already this week.

I was in Tampa vacationing this past week and went by Moffitt several times and I prayed for you Heather. We were in Clearwater allot. Went to Honey moon Island and Caladesi Island by the ferry. Lots of time in the ocean!! I am going back in a couple months. I am from Tampa and gave my testimony at Tampa Baptist where I went as a child. I love Florida and will be there every chance I get!
I rejoice with your family for Emma and you Heather, I pray for continued healing for you both.
