Okay, here is my delima. Mark has a big “Business Casual” Awards Banquet tonight, and I have my outfit all picked out…. except I don’t know what to do with my hair.. or lack there of.
I have been sitting here all morning trying to look at these two pictures and decide which one looks best, and honestly I think both of them look fine in their own way. I lean more towards “bald” because, well… its just me. But I also like the “wig look” for this event because I don’t want to stand out (too much!)
My mom said that everyone at his office has seen me bald for so long that wearing a wig would make me stand out… so I am bringing it to you.
Which do you prefer? Wig or no wig… that is my question.
Heather, I don’t think you could go wrong either way. You look beautiful with or without. However…… if everyone in the office is used to seeing you without your wig, you just may end up being more comfortable without it. You can’t go wrong; so, just go with your gut and HAVE FUN!!!!!!
Oh Heather…if I looked as beautiful as YOU look bald:wub: …I’d be so glad to have the choice. Though the wig looks natural, you’ve been known well by these people as YOU are…look what Easton says…perfectly said. And daughters know best! :heart: Which do you feel more comfortable with?
What is your outfit like? Are you accessorizing? Do you do scarves or bands? Geee, I read through some of the responses but did not want them to influence mine. Is it HOT weatherwise?
If HOT, I’d GO bald and beautiful! If cold, I’d cover up with that charming wig…but it just doesn’t seem like you! :silly: But I really like the first comment about a new beginnning…SO

When I first came upon your site I was struck by how beautiful you are. With hair or without, you are one of the most beautiful women I’ve seen. You would be a knockout even without the “hair.” I would do what is most comfortable.

I agree with Easton, go bald! I agree with all that you look beautiful either way but that it will be hot and uncomfortable, and if you normally live day to day without the wig, then NO WIG! Be yourself and don’t give yourself something to worry about.

Hey Sistah!!! I do luv the wig, you know new beginnings, a night of not thinking about anything else but being with your loving husband and enjoying every moment. And hey if it does get hot do whatever you feel comfortable..you know what!! I would rent a convertable, put the top down whip off the wig after and just go for a ride before you go home!! Hope I’m not too late to add a thought…but I agree with your mom. I’ve seen so many pictures of you bald that when I enlarged the bald picture, I thought, “How pretty.” Nothing else. Just pretty.
So bald is my vote!

When I was bald from chemo, I wore wigs out of the house. I didn’t want people looking at me and thinking, “Ohhh…that woman must have cancer.” But if you’re going to be with people who all know you and have seen you bald already, that won’t be something you even need to consider.
I do remember, though, that when I was wearing a wig, I was constantly adjusting it, which probably drew attention to myself, anyway, lol.
You truly are stunning either way, so just do whatever feels natural to you.
