I apologize..

For not taking the time to post, but right now managing my time is getting away from me.  So when I think at the end of the day “I should write a quick post about that” when we are homeschooling ; the end of the day turns into next week and I am just so exhausted.   Homeschooling really takes alot out of me, on top of all of my other “normal” responsibilities.

Problem is, I don’t feel so normal just yet ;)

Not that I am complaining, trust me. At the end of the day, I just want to sit on the couch in my pajama’s and watch tv until I fall asleep (which is usually early).

If you have emailed me or sent me a message thru my contact page, I am sorry that I havent replied… Honestly I havent even opened them in two weeks..  But I will get to them as soon as I can.

Do you ever feel like life is just getting away from you?  I’m there… But I am hoping that it gets better once this chemo fog lifts. Then I can really go back to the person that I use to be (with some limitations).

Thank you all for continuing to come here… Even when I have the same post up for weeks ;)

  3. Heather,
You are so sweet to think of us, but you are doing the right thing by keeping your family and yourself first. Keep doing what you are doing and when you get a moment and feel like blogging and giving us a little update, we will be glad to hear it. But, I don’t think anyone would want you to wear yourself out and feel bad because you haven’t blogged every day. We just love you and want you to be happy and healthy. Am I right ladies?

Thank God for Google Reader! It lets me know when you have something new. Homeschooling is a LOT of work, especially the first three years! It takes a while to get into the rhythm of things.

A suggestion – keep a notepad handy to jot down those blog ideas when the occur! That way they don’t disappear completely.

    Blessings to you and yours!

    Dear Heather,
Don’t worry about us, dear. You and your family are important first. A lot of us are slowing down on the posting. Many are understandably busy with school. You need to rest and take care of yourself. I know God does that, but you know what I mean.
I am praying for strength for you and total healing.

Raising children, let alone homeschooling them is a huge job and resposibility on it’s own. Then of course you add up al you have been through in the past 12 months, both yourself and young Emma, you are allowed to be too tired to post.

I do still visit everyday though as I don’t want to miss it when you do post.

I feel for what you are going through. Hang in there and enjoy your family and your own time, we will al still be here waiting for you no matter what.

You sweet girl – I have three kiddos myself – and life is just busy! Even with limited outside activities – the older they get, the busier we are. When they start to have their own interests it becomes tougher to balance it all and give them the individual attention they need – it just is the way it is…. So take the time for them – and don’t feel guilty about your blog. We check in because you so elequently share what God is doing in your life and that is fuel to us – We check in because we care about you and want to pray for you and your family – We check in because we can relate to you – Thanks for always being so authentic! Heather, you have so much going on in your household! No need to apologize, I don’t homeschool or have all the challenges that you do and I can’t find the time to post on my blog daily  . I check your blog every day, sometimes more than once a day and when I find a post, it is so wonderful to “hear” your voice and see what is going on in your life on that particular day. I love seeing the pictures you post, too! God Bless you, Heather!

    Heather,
“Normal” after chemo takes a LONG time…at least it did for me. I still feel like there are days when I’ll never be the same again. Maybe the new normal isnt’ so bad, either.

Take care of yourself and your family. God will make the rest fall into place.

:dizzy: Oh do I understand about life running away and leaving me behind trying to catch my breath! We just got home last week from a 3 week trip to Thailand – bringing home the latest addition to our family. Adopting a 14 month old (not to mention the jet lag!) had definitely turned my routines on their heads. :silly: It’s all I can do right now to keep everyone fed and clothed and feeling loved. And at times like these – for me and you and everyone – that’s enough. The house and blogs sometimes just have to wait.
