Life…
Eliot
(Please watch this video in its entirety)
Life is to be nourished. Life is to be cherished. Life is to be protected.
-
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
-Psalm 139:13-16

The Moral Vote
Instead, test everything.
Hold on to what is good.
Keep away from every kind of evil.
-1 Thess 5:21-22 (GW)
People often ask me what political party I am associated with. My simple answer is the one who represents my Savior the best. I vote by MY moral compass and in no way am I saying that those who vote differently than me are wrong.
That being said.
I will probably lose alot of readers today. Those of you have been reading my blog for any length of time know that I, in no way, want to offend anyone… but still I am not afraid to offend when it comes to defending Christ and His word. And those of you who know me personally, know that I do not go into things without first checking it against the Word of God.
That being said, again. I will not tell you who to vote for in this post. Instead I will say vote your conscience. Vote for the person that most represents Christ and his love for life.
But I will tell you who I am voting for:
John McCain and Sarah Palin.
When looking at the candidates side by side, This party represents my moral compass on more issues (but not all) than Obama/Biden (which honestly represent me on very few). You can do the same here: Presidential Candidates On The Issues.
So in the end, you have to vote your conscience. You have to vote for the person you feel the Lord leads you to vote for. But please be informed. Please do your research.
Do not vote, uninformed. Do not vote for a candidate because what he says “sounds good”. Research them, Research their records. Research their moral compass and who they are associated with and have been associated with. And then put all those things side by side and vote.
When John was in prison, he heard
about the things Christ had done.
So he sent his disciples to ask Jesus,
“Are you the one who is coming,
or should we look for someone else?”
-Matthew 11:2-3 (GW)
I urge you to ask that question. Are you who you say you are, or should we seek someone else?
