I just found your blog and am sending lots of good thoughts and prayers to you and Emma. My daughter was very premature and had many, many health problems so we spent all our time in hospitals in NJ and PA. When she was 5 and we thought the worst was over, we found out she had liver cancer and the cycle started all over so I can relate being angry at God and having constant ups and downs. Lesley is 24 years old now and has a lot of learning and behavioral problems and still has a lot of medical issues but she’s our Lesley and we love her. Sometimes it all seems more that I can handle…but the Lord helps me.

Hi Heather,

I just wanted you to know that there are many of us out here who pray daily for you, Emma and the rest of your family but don’t always comment. It is our calling to storm heaven and intercede on your behalf, to feel your pain, and even cry when you cry but to always press on for your strength and faith that you have been given by GRACE and always have, even when it is not felt, since we live by faith the essence of the unseen world; the evidence of things to come. “Count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” So, lay back in the arms of Jesus and be totally covered in HIS blood and be anxious for nothing, for HE has been there before you and has conquered all to now build your endurance. Perfect love casts out all fear. Heather, your words have blessed me many times. Your are strong and able to fight the good fight. You are a winner not a looser; you are above and not below; you are the head and not the tail; You are a child of the KING!
Be very blessed this day and all glory and honor be to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I’m so sorry to read that your daughter is sick. Praying for her to recovery quickly.

I hear you on the anger issue. That was me last week. Long story…but Saturday at the Focus on the Family marriage simulcast, the Lord brought to light my anger and I was able to ask for forgiveness.

So sorry to hear Emma is back at ACH and hoping you get discharged soon. If you see Dr. A-K please give him a hug from me. I miss them all – we’re 4 hours away from Vanderbilt (but it’s a great p[ace too – just a longer drive).
