Thanks Heather Powerful indeed.Amazing how each trial in life changes our perspective isn't it. I'm coming up on 12 yrs as a survivor non hodgkins lymphoma Stage4.. New twist a bad mammogram.With a recheck in three months. But God lead me to where I am now and I m Faith remains on Him. Your ministry here helps many so thank you! I came to have a look, to see the responses and I was not prepaired to see comments by others about their walk, and I see that we all have different “trials” to see that I am not alone with “struggles”, thank you for being reall for letting it “all hang out” it makes me feel as though I belong as well.

God's perspective changes everything, doesn't it. I was thinking about that the other day as I was (grudginly) doing the yardwork so I could free up my sweetheart's weekend. It's my birthday next week and just two short years ago, it was a good day when I could get out of bed thanks to chemo and complications. Now I can serve. Hallelujah! It's funny you talk about God's fingerprints. recently (and even in my posts recently) I have used those exact words although for very different circumstances. God is still Good. Still on His throne. we are losing our ranch. I can see God's hand in every single aspect of it though. The last of the horses will move tomorrow. We will move, life will change yet again...but God is in control of it all. And all those minute details he has taken care of each and every one. Thank you, Heather…this message really resonates with me. I’m battling stage IV metastatic breast cancer, the diagnosis of which we received in January, exactly four years to the day after my first breast cancer diagnosis. We thought we’d beaten the beast and were done with treatments, after two different chemo protocols, mastectomy, radiation, and every test & scan known to medical science. I truly never expected to have to deal with this again. But the Lord is so good and always faithful; He gives me the strength to face whatever lies ahead. He didn’t put this cancer in my body, but He teaches me so much as I walk this path. Even though I pray to be healed, to be found faithful by Him…to see Him face to face…yes, that will make everything we’ve ever endured in this life worthwhile!

Your posting today is a great reminder that this life-altering suffering is only temporary, the prize is eternal. As we walk with our Lord through the valley of the shadow, He knows the way, He knows our weaknesses, His heart of compassion is moved as we praise Him. He keeps all our tears in His bottle, and engraves our names on His almighty hand.
Your faithfulness to give Him honor blesses His heart, and encourages all of us who daily struggle with pain and uncertainty, challenges we did not choose, problems we cannot solve. Thank you, Heather.
