My husband has always had the call to serve. When we first met, he was a leader of Campus Crusade on his college campus, the week after our wedding we were serving at a church as youth pastors, and it didnt stop there. We have always been in a leadership roll of one sort or another in the churches we are apart of. Currently he is the worship elder at our church and I am in the children’s ministry.
Looking back at our 15+ years of ministry, (and our 15+ years of married life) one would think that we know what we are doing, where we are going, and what the Lord is leading us to do.
My husband started a blog titled “Beckoned Call” just for that reason. Here is an excerpt:
This is why I decided to start Beckoned Call. Look at where we have been, think about it, ponder it, deal with it, forgive and ask to be forgiven, do what you need to do. Just remember, you can’t change what is done, the mistakes etc…you know what I mean.

Like you we have spent most all our married life (25 yrs in June) in ministry. I am the WM’s pres… and we run a Christian camp and retreat center… Our job/ministry plus more.
It does give a person a lot to think and ponder about. I will check out your husband’s post.
