I have to tell you that I was so very nervous going into this interview… and it shows! I never realized how many times I said “um” in a conversation! It was a true pleasure to be interviewed by Melissa. She is a wonderful person and so easy to talk to. I was amazed at how quickly 45 minutes flew by! God is really using her to reach others through her radio show and it was a true honor to be one of those women He chose to use.
Pull up a chair and listen to what the Lord has done in my (and her) life thus far!
And yes.. that is me saying quietly “hello?” at the end… :unsure:
Corrections: Her heart was not the size a football, but the size of an adults fist. (example of me using the wrong word :blush: ) and Easton is 12 not 11… (lost a full year there!)
Ha ha I do the very same thing …stumble over my words and say um or uh waaay too many times.
Looking forward to listening with my cup of Java.

What a blessing!! My husband is taking a graduate class at a conservative college (Liberty U) and was amazed at a ‘scholarly article’ that he had to write a report on, supposedly written by a Christian who is a principal at a ‘Christian school’… who’s opinion it is that it is Biblically ok to terminate a life before birth if there is physical ‘defects’… So sad that any person who professes to be a Christian in our great nation would feel that way!! You are such a testimony of the OPPOSITE!!! THANK YOU!!!! God Bless you and your family!!

I have actually been following your blog since *March 2007. I can’t remember quite how I got here but I check in on you and your family daily.
I am so glad that you have been able to testify of the goodness and faithfulness of our God! It’s obvious to me where your heart really lies! As overwhelming as brain cancer has been and the trials involved, your heart relays that Emma Grace and your family is the deepest part of you.
We are all terminal, how long we have here has been ordained by God. Besides bringing glory to God, the purpose of our life here on earth is to be molded into the image of His precious Son, Jesus Christ. Only in our authenticity and vulnerability can we make an impact on others!
Thank you for sharing your heart with all of us. What an inspiration you have been the past 2+ years to me and so many others! And to think that at one time you couldn’t put your words together and now you did a radio interview!
Our God really is an awesome God!
