You’re family are in my prayers. It can be hard when you yourself aren’t well but watching your child it can be even more difficult and frustrating. Hang in there.

I’m sorry this has to happen. I really really admire your courage. You don’t even sound too frightened nor sorry for yourself / Emma.

I agree with Kathy, sometimes, medications can solve a problem and create another (sometimes worse). It’s really difficult when you have to have medicines like these.

Emmas Neuro said it would also help her “tic like tendencies”. It worked miracles with her, but because she is a heart transplant patient, the lowering of her blood pressure was a big deal. If she didnt have heart issues, she would still be on it.

Interesting about the Tenex. Tenex has been suggested by my 12-yr old’s neurologist to control tics, he’s never been on anything and I’ve been resistant since most of the time his tics are mild. Medications can work miracles but sometimes it seems like you solve one problem and create another, its a balancing act.
