Worship is not…
Watch this video.
And then watch it again and let the words sink in.
Worship is not about us, our voice, whether we sit or stand, whether we raise or hands or bow our heads. It has nothing to do with what style we prefer. Actually, It has absolutely nothing to do with us at all…
And everything to do with praising Him.
“It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself—Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.” - John 4:23, 24 (The Message)
Are you “simply and honestly” yourself before him in your worship?

Tuesdays..
Tuesdays are a very special day for me. They are the day that I have set apart to be with my very dear friend Michelle. Whether it be getting our nails and toes done, or just sitting in our PJs in my living room drinking coffee talking about everything and nothing all at the same time..
Tuesdays are “Me and Michelle” days.
Yesterday I called her about what time we were going to get our nails/toes done and I could instantly tell that something was bothering her. We had a good chat about what it was and then I said “I knew there was a different and more important reason for me to call you at this exact moment!”
Friends just know. They know when something is wrong, and they instinctively try to make it better. They know when you need a quick laugh, a quick cry… and they stick around for both.
Tuesdays are our days to do exactly that..
So, Michelle, when you read this: Thank you for being my friend when I needed it the most. You will never know how much your friendship means to me, and how precious you and Andrew are to Mark and I. We are so very thankful to have you in our lives.
What friendships do you cherish? How have they impacted your life?
